The corn flea beetle (Chaetocnema pulicaria) and the diseases it carries, such as Stewart's wilt, are primarily a concern in southern U.S. corn-growing states. But new predictive models that incorporate climate change and future environmental scenarios depict a future where the beetle's damage significantly increases in the Corn Belt and other northern states.
