When aphid-like insects appeared in conifer forests in western Bhutan, local researchers collaborated with USDA Forest Service experts to identify eight species in the family Adelgidae, including four new to science. They also found a variety of insects that prey on the adelgids and could serve as natural enemies in future pest management efforts. [Read more]
