Based in Henderson, Tenn., family-owned U.S. Pest Protection has opened a branch location in Murfreesboro, Tenn. It joins branch locations in Nashville and Gallatin, Tenn., and is located in the newly constructed Fountains at Gateway business complex in Murfreesboro, approximately 25 miles outside of the downtown metro Nashville area.
According to a news release, the new location will expand U.S. Pest Protection’s service areas into other local surrounding towns, such as Beechgrove, Bell Buckle, Christiana, Eagleville, Manchester, McMinnville, Shelbyville, Smithville, Woodbury, and more.
Second-generation President Erica Brister said in the release that pest control and termite service are moving into new areas of Middle Tennessee as the city’s experiences growth during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company “continues to stress the importance of a safe, socially distanced environment in the office workplace and in the service treatment protocol for our field professionals. Our pest professionals continue to practice the recommended [U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention] guidelines and wear the appropriate [personal protective equipment, or] PPE for both the protection of our employees and customers.”
Earlier this year, The Nashville Business Journal recently ranked U.S. Pest Protection No. 21 in its list of the Top 25 Largest Family-owned Businesses in Nashville, Tenn. The firm, currently the largest privately owned pest control company in the Volunteer State, beat out hundreds of other middle Tennessee businesses based on its 2019 revenue.
Founded in May 1985, U.S. Pest Protection notes that it is the first pest control company in Tennessee to offer online service subscriptions for monthly pest control service and disinfectant service (ViroCleanse).
