ABOUT THE COMPANY
Founded in 1999, Thermal Acoustical Pest Control (TAP) Insulation is a pesticide registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and can only be installed by licensed pest management professionals. As “loose-fill” cellulose insulation, it is installed by being blown into attics on top of existing insulation. It can also be installed in attics and walls of new homes with specialized machines. In addition to reducing energy bills by keeping a structure warmer in winter and cooler in summer, TAP Pest Control Insulation controls common household pests that nest in attics and walls like ants, booklice, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, darkling beetles, earwigs, millipedes, silverfish, sow bugs, and termites — including Formosan termites.
TAP Pest Control Insulation also guards against mold and mildew; offers excellent acoustical control and fire resistance with year-round energy savings; and provides permanent pest protection backed by a lifetime warranty. TAP Pest Control Insulation bears the ENERGY STAR Seal & Insulate mark and is UL Classified.
