The Global Bed Bug Summit will take place virtually Dec. 1-3, 2020, and will feature the latest in bed bug research and education. The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and the event’s premier sponsor, BedBug Central, made the decision to take it virtual based on the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.
“The Global Bed Bug Summit is an incredibly important specialty meeting for our members who provide bed bug services,” NPMA CEO Dominique Stumpf said in a news release. “We are confident that our attendees, exhibitors and supporters will find great value in this meeting as we shift it to a virtual platform.”
The Global Bed Bug Summit is designed to provide pest management professionals (PMPs) with the information from legal, technical, business, and customer-oriented perspectives, so they can not only eliminate bed bug issues, but also create an environment of trust between themselves and their customers.
The virtual Summit will feature a 24/7 trade show, offering participants access to the latest bed bug products and technologies, increased engagement with industry experts, and the benefit of easily accessible recertification credit (CEU) opportunities with no travel required.
The NPMA is a non-profit organization with nearly 5,000 members from around the world. It was established in 1933 to support the pest management industry’s commitment to the protection of public health, food and property. This commitment is reflected both in the continuing education of pest management professionals and the dissemination of timely information to homeowners and businesses.
BedBug Central serves as a national, authoritative information resource and website available to the public for information involving bed bugs and bed bug-related issues concerning health, prevention and treatment methods. It also serves as a training resource for PMPs.
